About: I started playing at the age of 10 when my parents said why don't you get another interest rather than just football, football, football and I thought why not and I'm so glad I did. I was given a cornet and had lessons, after about 6 months my tutor who was also the MD of Harlow Band asked me to come along and I've been there ever since. As most cornet players do, I started on 3rd to 2nd to front row on to principal for a while but now happily playing repiano. I did go onto soprano for a short while and was also asked to go on Euphonium as we were short but that was a disaster so didn't last long. Many happy memories of the band amongst them being trips to Pontins and the Isle of Wight.

Favourite Piece of Music: Rhapsody in Brass Shipbuilders and Nessun Dorma, which all bring back great memories.
