About: I was born in North Wales and was taught to play the tenorhorn by Merfyn Hughes, Kevin Tout and Sandy Blair, who also introduced me to the French horn. I studied music at Reading University, specialising in musicology and composition. I have been fortunate to have several compositions and arrangements published over the years, and continue to enjoy writing music for brass bands.
