About: I started playing a brass instrument aged 11. I joined the Netteswell School Band and Netteswell Youth Band playing tenor horn. Over the next 5 years, through no choice of my own, I was put on baritone and then euphonium, which is the instrument I have carried on playing. It's a beautiful instrument.
Wherever I have lived I have joined the local brass band, joining Harlow in 1995.
I've always enjoyed being part of a group and have had lots of fantastic experiences and fun times. I have had, and still have, some great friends in the brass band world.
